Fay Peters (Fayro) 66, of Kilber, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in his home. He was born January 14, 1946 in Van Buren, Arkansas the son of the late Archie and Lora Peters. Fay was retired from the U.S. Forge Craft after 28 years of service of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of this area and he loved fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie L. Peters and Lora Peters, sisters, Sharon Jones and Barbara Gregory, brothers, Lalyon Peters and Archie R. Peters. Survivors include his love and companion Mary Teague, daughters, Crystal Eaton of Spiro, OK and Twila Martin of Minnesota, four grandson's, brother, Curtis Peters of Chester and sister Alta Jean Jones of Van Buren, nine nephews, five nieces and several great nephews and nieces. Graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at New Cemetery in Mulberry, Arkansas. Viewing and family visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2012 only, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith, AR.
