J.L. Fielder, 86, of Fort Smith, entered into rest on Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born January 24, 1926 in Monroe, Oklahoma. J.L. was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, a Navy Veteran, member of V.F.W., Order of Purple Heart, D.A.V. , National Association of Federal Employees and a member of First Baptist Church Fort Smith. He is survived by brother Dan Jack Fielder and wife Linda of Fort Smith, two nephews Mike and wife Lindsey and David Fielder, great nephew Grayson Fielder, son, Rudy Fielder of Fort Smith. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at U.S. National Cemetery with Military Honors.
